Finally, an easy way to cut your threads when chain stitching! This 3-piece 3D printed thread cutter uses a standard 45mm rotary blade - it's the perfect way to give a worn out cutting blade a second life! This is a custom designed item - drafted in CAD by GF3D and printed in London, ON.
Assembly is super simple - just insert a small slot screwdriver into the slot in the cover (see video for details) and gently pry it open. Place your blade over the pin and press the two halves together. You should hear (and feel) a little click when the cover is fully secured. The cutter stores flat on the base (two magnets ensure it doesn't fall out, even when flipped upside down), and sits upright int he base for cutting. There are 5 exposed notches, giving you plenty of places to cut. If the blade becomes dull, simply pop open the cover, rotate the blade and re-close the cover. Only a minimal amount of the blade is exposed - it is enough to easily cut threads, but will keep fingers safe from the sharp edge. Please use caution when handling the blade or the cutter!

Measures ~60mm dia x 18mm thick (including base). Ready to ship in the colours listed. If you want a different colour (or multiple colours) select CUSTOM and indicate your preference in the notes and we'll do our best to accommodate. Custom colours will require an extra 2-3 days processing (printing) time.
